The extensive regeneration works to the existing Grade II Listed Victorian House are now complete.

Originally a convalescent home for children, The Yarrow building was in later years used used as a hospital and recuperation facility for soldiers returning from the World Wars. Thanet College took over the site in the 1960s to form its campus.

The Yarrow has now been transformed into a four-star training hotel, providing East Kent College with a fantastic new education facility which gives students a unique opportunity to learn and develop their hospitality, catering and beauty therapy skills in a live environment open to the public. The hotel accommodates 28 guest rooms, a restaurant, skills and training kitchens, a bar and lounge events room, a hair salon and beauty spa.
