The Broomhill Bank Schools provide education for children and young people with a primary diagnosis of autism, offering a learning environment designed to offer an academically similar experience to a mainstream setting.
At the school's 'North' site in Swanley, we removed the old swimming pool, and replaced it with a single-storey building housing a fitness suite, changing rooms and ancillary spaces. Alongside the new building, we carried out a full refurbishment to the existing sports hall, recladding the exterior and modernising the interior.
The completed scheme provides much-needed physical education spaces for the school, offering a safe, year-round facility for sports activities and therapeutic interventions, supporting the delivery of the students’ Educational Health Care Plans.
