Working on site at the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, this contract comprised the refurbishment to part of the existing Accident and Emergency department, creating an 11 bed Rapid Assessment Patient (RAP) Area and ancillary accommodation.

Increasing the capacity of the RAP at William Harvey Hospital allows for the rapid handover of an incoming patient from SECAmb (South East Coast Ambulance) to the correct hospital staff, allowing the patient to receive immediate care. It also allows the SECAmb crew to get back on the road and respond quickly to the next emergency call in the community.
